Members vote on paper, as they always have. Your officers enter each ballot into the record, and the count includes them. The paper stays with you as a second proof.
Without paper ballots
Members vote on their own phones. Nothing to print, nothing to carry, nothing to count by hand. You can also use both in the same election.

Voting is secret
We record that a flat has voted, never what it voted. The ballot box holds no name and no time. Each voter gets a receipt code that proves the ballot was counted without showing the choice.
A record like this is made to be examined, by members, by auditors and, if it ever comes to it, by a court or an authority. It is very hard to wave away. How much weight a record carries in a particular dispute depends on your bye-laws and the law where you live, so keep your advocate in the loop. We give you the evidence, in order.
